National School Psychology Week

National School Psychology Week: November 3-7, 2025
This year’s theme of National School Psychology Week (NSPW) is “Finding your Path”. NASP has shared a slew of sharable resources to help us celebrate.  Consider hanging up posters, creating conversations about our profession, and letting others know what we do. Also, consider sharing through social media what school psychologists do.  Also, consider sharing through social media what school psychologists do and please hashtag us at ISPA.

Each day during NSPW, NASP has themes highlighting aspects of the overall theme “Finding Your Path”.

Monday (11/3): “Find Your Path”, Consider where you are today and who helped guide your journey. Share your story of professional growth and help others learn about school psychology. Use social media as a means to do this, and don’t forget to hashtag us (@ilispa) as well as NASP (@NASPonline).

Tuesday (11/4): “Expand Your Path”, review the NASP Practice Model and consider new ideas on how we can be more aligned with the model. Consider areas untapped and how we can open the doors for this. Share your thoughts with others in the profession and those with influence.

Wednesday (11/5): “Promote Your Path”, which aligns with NASP’s Advocacy Action Day. Consider participating in Advocacy Action Day. NASP has literature you can share, and it should take less than 5 minutes of your time to do so.

Thursday (11/6): “Share Your Path”, think about bringing your unique ideas and perspectives to share with others. The NASP Exposure Project is a great resource in this, and feel free to highlight the strengths everyone can bring to the school community.

Friday (11/7): “Reflect on Your Path”, take time to share your goals for amplifying how school psychologists can help children across settings and post one thing you were able to do this week in promoting the profession. Share this on social media and hashtag us (@ilispa) as well as NASP (@NASPonline).

So let’s celebrate our profession with the rest of the nation and promote school psychology! Also, be on the lookout for the governor’s proclamation of NSPW.
