This is full-time permanent position for the 2018-2019 academic year. Prairie Hill CCSD 133 is looking for an individual to serve as our district’s psychologist and social worker.

Position:  School Psychologist Leave of Absence Position (8/8/18-11/1/18)

The school psychologist conducts individual case study evaluations to determine eligibility for Section 504 Plans and special education, provides counseling services, and works collaboratively with members of the Student Services and Special Education Divisions to support students. 

Job Summary:

The school psychologist works with students, parents, and stakeholders to lead the evaluation process, participates in staffing meetings to determine eligibility for special education and Section 504 services, and monitors the disposition of the staffing decision. In addition to the duties above, the school psychologist provides individual and group counseling services and assists in crisis situations. The school psychologist collaborates with other members of the Student Services Division to problem-solve and to discuss appropriate interventions in an effort to help students experience greater academic, behavioral, social, and emotional success. 


Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement 

Interested applicants must possess knowledge of, and experience with, determining eligibility for Section 504 Plans and developing 504 Plans for eligible students, RtI problem-­solving process, data analysis, and data­-based decision making, research-­based academic and behavioral interventions, functional behavior assessment, and behavior intervention plans, and school­-based individual and group counseling techniques.  Interested applicants must apply online at
