Primary Function:  Provide school psychological services to and on behalf of students who require psychological evaluation and assistance in their educational or behavioral adjustment.  
Conduct individual psychological examinations and interpretations of those findings.
Consult with students, parents and appropriate school staff personnel which will lead to meaningful educational experiences for the child.
Collect and collate any pre-existing, available information on the child.

Counsel and perform psychological intervention measures as appropriate to the needs of students individually or in groups.

Assist with the identification, eligibility determination, and placement of all types of exceptional students pre-K through grade 12 and conduct required evaluations and re-evaluations.

Assist with the development and implementation of strategic interventions for students.

Assist with screening and progress monitoring practices to identify at risk students and to monitor the effectiveness of interventions.

Participate in the District Response to Intervention and Problem Solving referral process with building teams.

Participate in the eligibility/reevaluation meetings for students with 504 Plans under the American’s with Disabilities Act.

Assist in the process of developing an educational climate conducive to optimum development of all children.

Other Duties as assigned by administrator.

Assist in completing the Special Education domain and eligibility process, conduct diagnostic psychological testing and social-developmental histories for students with cognitive disabilities in both the Career Life Skills and life program, Write IEP goals and provide counseling minutes for students with cognitive disabilities, Assist Career Life Skill and life teams with Behavior Intervention plans, Provide intervention assistance to students, families, Provide classroom-based interventions/presentations in collaboration with teachers, Implement evidenced based group counseling curriculum, Follow directives of the Director of the Career Life Skills program and life program
