Perhaps the highest honor that ISPA can bestow is that of Life Membership within the organization. To be recommended for this honor, a person must have been a member for at least 10 years and have made notable contributions to the field of School Psychology. This year, we are happy to recognize one of our own….a person who has served as a graduate educator and school psychology program director for several years. He has served a number of terms on the ISPA Governing Board as trainer representative, area coordinator, and President. He has impacted the lives of so many school psychologists in Illinois. He is one of those individuals who makes everyone who comes in contact with him a little better for doing so. Please join me in bestowing the honor of Life Membership to Dr. Mike Havey.
