Stuart is currently in his 35th year as school psychologist at the Westbrook Therapeutic Day School in Arlington Heights. He is described as an outstanding clinical and educational leader. He has conducted extensive training of new staff including teachers and psychologists, and has been responsible for training and directing the crisis teams. Stuart has also served as an Assistant Principal in the school. His love for service to youth goes beyond the school, as his service in the community is extensive. His colleagues write that Stuart always maintains the highest degree of professionalism and respect for children despite working with the most behaviorally challenging children in the school system. Despite the many hats that Stuart has worn and the many challenges presented by the children in the school, Stuart has served as inspiration for other staff by being level headed and never losing his sense of humor.
