Do you want to do a presentation in a classroom, to parents, or school-wide but don’t know where to start? Consider hosting a Take a School Mental Health Day event.
The curriculum is designed for quick implementation for those professions wishing to host a school-wide program designed assist students in developing good mental health and promoting school psychologists’ value within the school environment and community. However, the presentation can easily be tailored for smaller audiences. Review the program materials, which ISPA members can use free of charge, by navigating through the links starting on this page.
ISPA believes Take A School Mental Health Day -- which you can schedule at any time during the school year -- will help your school achieve state social and emotional learning (SEL) goals while enabling you to strengthen alliances with school leadership, teachers and other professionals.
