-       Follow link and click on the blue ‘Sign Up’ button to access registration. Note: Everyone will need to ‘sign in’ to their existing account OR ‘create a new account’ in order to register to volunteer. Fill out registration information and submit the form.

2. Volunteer requirements and guidelines: To help make this year’s race a memorable experience for everyone we ask that volunteers abide by the following requirements and guidelines, www.chicagomarathon.com/volunteerguidelines and note,

-       We require all volunteers to register online by midnight, Monday, October 2. Unregistered individuals will NOT be admitted on the day of the event due to increased security.

-       We require that all volunteers be 21 years of age or older on the day of the event for this station.

-       Grant Park volunteers are required to bring their Grant Park Access Pass in order to enter the park on race day.

-       We require all volunteers to present a form of identification at check-in.

-       Volunteers are strongly discouraged from bringing personal belongings to the event. Gear check will be required for belongings that cannot be carried in a volunteer’s pockets.

Final confirmation email and Grant Park Volunteer Access Pass 
The Chicago Marathon office will send all Grant Park volunteers a final confirmation email to confirm their assignment and shift time, detail transportation options, directions to volunteer check in, preparation tips, important notices and more.

All Grant Park volunteers will receive a Grant Park Volunteer Access Pass, via email, race week. Volunteers must present their Grant Park Volunteer Access Pass to security to gain entry to the Harrison Volunteer Compound at Gate 7 located at the entrance of the Harrison Footbridge. The Grant Park Volunteer Access Pass is only valid at Gate 7.
